OrbitHub is a DeepTech infrastructure platform designed to support technological innovation. We provide photonics design & testing capabilities, together with access to advanced laboratory and cleanroom facilities for industrial collaborators and startups developing next-generation DeepTech and space technologies. OrbitHub aims to support the transition from research and prototyping toward industrial development and real-world deployment.

In 2026, OrbitHub opens its first innovation cluster in the industrial precinct of Colonia Güell — a former textile factory founded in 1890 by industrialist Eusebi Güell that once stood as a pillar of Barcelona's growth and prosperity. Renowned for its rich Modernist architecture, originally envisioned by Antoni Gaudí, this site is now the stage for a new high-tech era.
The Industrial Heritage of Colonia Güell
The industrial precinct of Colonia Güell is a historic textile factory complex located on the outskirts of Barcelona. Conceived to integrate industry with innovation, it exemplified the vision for industrial colonies in Catalonia during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Renowned for its Modernist architecture, it remains a symbol of industrial heritage and visionary planning.
